Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by your English speaking guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner at a local halal restaurant and overnight at the 5* Taj Cape Town.
The 5-Star Taj Cape Town hotel is set right in the heart of the cosmopolitan city close to all major tourist attractions. Once the headquarters of the South African Reserve Bank, The Taj has retained the marble floors and walls and tall pillars that were the hallmark of that building ensuring that the glamour remained in what is today a modern and very sophisticated inner-city hotel.
After breakfast, meet your guide for a full day Cape Town experience. Travel by cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) then descend visiting the Malay Quarter, the Castle of Good Hope, the Diamond Works and the Milnerton area and photograph Table Mountain from across Table Bay.
In the afternoon, enjoy a unique interaction and experience the cultural diversity of the Cape Malay community, descendants of the original Malay slaves. We start outside the Bo-Kaap Museum in the heart of the Cape Malay Quarter. Your story-telling host will then guide you on an entertaining walking tour giving you insights into the historical and architectural landscape that adds so much colour and character to Cape Town’s City Bowl.
The highlight of this experience is enjoying an authentic home-cooked halaal dinner at the gracious home of your host family.
This morning depart Cape Town heading East along the Garden Route with English speaking guide. We’ll pass through Stellenbosch, Little Karoo and Barrydale on the way to Oudtshoorn, located south of the Swartberg Nature Reserve.

The Safari Ostrich Farm is a working ostrich farm in the popular town of Oudsthoorn on the celebrated Garden Route. It was established in 1956 and has been delighting visitors ever since. It is often referred to as a must-see. On a guided tour, you will learn and see all the aspects of ostrich farming as well as the ostriches themselves. Everything from the miracle of hatching to the incubator room is shown and experienced. The Safari Ostrich Farm is also home to the beautiful and rare White Ostrich. There are two restaurants that serve delicious home-made ostrich dishes if you want to try an ostrich fillet and shopping is a treat, with a wide range of well-crafted ostrich leather products or intricate ornamental ostrich eggs.
You then enjoy a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages.
Oudtshoorn’s famous Cango Caves can be explored on a guided tour (all guides are accredited) lasting for an hour and leaving every hour on the hour from 9:00 to 16:00 each day. This is one of Africa’s most spectacular natural formations with vast caverns, beautiful, delicate and sometimes majestic stalagmites and stalactites and dripstone caverns. The scenic tour, while not for the fainthearted, is a relatively gentle stroll through the caves while marveling at their uniquely dramatic rock formations.
In the late afternoon, you will travel to Knysna where a halal meal is enjoyed at a local restaurant. Overnight at The Rex Hotel.

Depart Knysna to Port Elizabeth on the way stopping at Plettenberg Bay, Tsitsikamma National Park, and Storms River mouth.
The Storm River Mouth in the Tsitsikamma forms part of the Garden Route National Park. This is one of South Africa’s most diverse and protected natural areas that is a narrow band of about 150 kilometers along the South Cape Coast. There are rich marine protected areas, deep gorges, rock pools, and waterfalls; it’s pure and natural nirvana. One of the many highlights in this area is the 77m long suspension bridge that crosses the Storms River Mouth. This bridge is famous in this part of the world and has striking gorge views and the bridge leads to a path that takes you to a popular lookout point. This suspension bridge sways a little in the wind and is an exhilarating experience.
Arrive in Port Elizabeth, check in at the hotel and spend some time at leisure before enjoy a halal meal at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Protea Hotel by Marriot in Port Elizabeth.
Depart for Kwantu Game Reserve. Kwantu Game Reserve is an African reserve of superior distinction. It is located in South Africa’s Eastern Cape and is 6000 hectares. Kwantu Game Reserve is a Big 5 area and is a destination that will provide an authentic safari adventure where the likes of rhino and lion traverse the African wilderness. You will find your days being spent on thrilling game drives, walking safaris and even bird watching, immersing yourself into this wild continent. The Kwantu Game Reserve is also home to the Kwantu Elephant Sanctuary, the Education, and Rehabilitation Centre as well as a Reptile Centre. There is a selection of leisure activities that will have you relaxed after days of exploring.

An early rise for your second game drive in the park to search for wildlife in their natural habitat before returning for breakfast. Depart Kwantu Lodge for your return transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport and your onward flight.
