Enjoy an adventurous halal friendly tour as you experience the wild side of Tanzania. During our tour, you will stay five nights at different lodges whilst awaiting a new adventure each day.

Not only will you be sleeping in style, you’ll also have your own English speaking guide and driver during the day. Your guide is one of the locals, so nobody knows the terrain better than they will and will be the main part of making your journey across the savannahs memorable. Moreover, you will receive a seat in a shared 4×4 vehicle (maximum 7 in one vehicle) guaranteed to give you the best view of the wildlife and the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro crater tour.

The Tanzanian Safari Experience will take you and your companions through breathtaking views. Stop and explore places such as Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Afternoon join seat in vehicle safari and you depart Arusha and pass through the Maasai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the journey up through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.  You arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon in time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2:  Lake Manyara – Serengeti
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park. You arrive at the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park.  All meals are served at the lodge, however; at the driver/guides’ discretion, a picnic lunch may be taken to maximise game viewing.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains as you go. You stop at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Oltupai by the Maasai. You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as images of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants.  After a picnic lunch you continue to your lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 5:  Ngorongoro Crater
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the early morning mist and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. With more than 30,000 resident animals, it is an awe-inspiring wildlife experience.  You return to the lodge for a late lunch and then have the afternoon at leisure.  Dinner at the lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast you drive to Arusha.  On arrival in Arusha you will be dropped in the town centre.
