This being so, British nationalities and passport holders can enjoy up to 30 days upon arrival providing they hold a valid onward or return ticket. No prior visa is required to arrive to Maldives.
Which airport will you fly in to: Male International Airport, previous known as Hulhule Airport, is the main international airport in the Maldives and the most likely airport you’ll fly into when travelling from the UK or other countries. Being well connected with major airports throughout the world, Male Internation Airport serves as the main gateway for tourist arriving into the Maldives. From here, you'll take a speedboat or air transfer to your hideaway island.

Ramadan – Being an Islamic country, the Maldives celebrates the month of Ramadan every year.
Eid Festival – celebrated yearly after Ramadan. During the Eid Festival, which normally lasts for 3 days, tourists will enjoy cultural splendors of the Maldives religious faith alongside feasts of grand meals and get-togethers which are thoroughly prepared throughout the country.
