Our flagship tour for 2018 takes you on a journey to the Far East with our tour of Japan and Korea. Our trip begins in the capital of Seoul, the capital of South Korea is truly a 24-hour city that never sleeps. From fashion markets to royal palaces, cutting-edge design to mountain trails. The next four nights will be spent exploring Seoul, visiting sights such as the Gyeongbok Palace. We will also try hand making our own Kimchi and take a cruise down Han River. We’ll also spend a day visiting Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm before our highlight tour to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Here we will learn and understand more on the historical partition between North and South Korea.
Next, we head to Japan where the uber-modern meets the traditional. Throughout the trip, there will be many opportunities to experience local halal Japanese cuisine. We will try hand-rolled sushi to steaming ramen noodles. In Kyoto, we can also try the famous local green tea. In Osaka, the third largest city in Japan. After hopefully catching a glimpse of the Sakura Festival (also known as the Cherry Blossom Festival), we’ll head north on the bullet train to Tokyo. Here we will explore the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Camii Mosque. The next day, we will visit Mount Fuji to round of a truly once in a lifetime experience in this wonderful part of Asia.

Mon 19 Mar: Meet at London Heathrow terminal 4, for our departure to Doha and onwards to Seoul.
Tue 20th Mar : Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome to Seoul. At arrival at Incheon Airport, we will dine at a Halal restaurant for our welcome dinner (included) and then transfer to 4* Golden Tulip M Seoul Hotel.
Wed 21st Mar : After breakfast at the hotel, we will pass by and make a short visit to The Blue House (Presidential House). After, we will visit Gyeongbok Palace which was the main royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty built in 1395. It is one of the most iconic sights in South Korea. Before we leave for lunch, we will make a visit to the National Folk Museum, where we can learn about Korean agricultural and domestic lifestyles, as well as their cultural beliefs.
After lunch (included), we will visit the famous National Ginseng Outlet. In the mid-afternoon, we will journey to Bukchon Hanok (Traditional Korean House) Village, and then we will continue on to Insadong Antique Gallery which represented the focal points of Korean traditional culture and crafts. After that, we will enjoy a delicious halal dinner (included), and return to the hotel.
Thu 22 Mar: This morning, we will depart from our hotel to head toward Nami Island. Upon arrival, we will explore the beautiful half-moon shaped island, famous for its exquisite tree lines roads. After, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a Korean restaurant. After lunch (included), we will take a stroll through The Garden of Morning Calm.
In the mid-afternoon, we will transfer back to Seoul. We will make a visit to the Dongdaemun Market, one of Seoul’s major shopping markets. Following this, we will dine at a halal restaurant (included) and make our way back to the hotel.
Fri 23 Mar: In the morning after breakfast, we will take an iconic river cruise along the famous Han River.
After Jummah prayers and lunch (included) in the afternoon, we will partake in Kimchi making, a staple dish in Korean cuisine as well as try on traditional clothing known as Hanbok. After, we will head to the shopping paradise of Myeongdong Fashion Street and Cosmetic Shop. In the evening, we will experience Nanta cultural show, the longest-running show in Korean history.
Finally, we will finish off the day with dinner at a halal restaurant (included) and then make our way back to the hotel.
Sat 24 Mar: To begin our morning, we will leave our hotel and make our way to Imjingak Park, located on the banks of the Imjin River. At 9.30am we will make our way to the Unification Bridge (ID Check) for a short visit. Then we will make our way to the DMZ Theatre and Exhibition Hall, where the division between North and South Korea has been made before lunch (included).
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure before dinner at a halal restaurant and then proceed back to our hotel.
Sun 25 Mar: Breakfast will take place at the Hotel, with the morning at leisure to enjoy and explore Seoul. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Seoul airport for our flight to Osaka.
Konichiwa! Welcome to Osaka. Upon arrival into the city, transfer to the Sheraton Miyako.
Mon 26 Mar: This morning after breakfast, we will depart for our tour of Osaka, where we will visit the beautiful Osaka Castle, the Shinsaibashi and the Umeda, filled with rich history.
In the evening, we will transfer for Dinner at Yakiniku & Shabushba Jin (Halal BBQ Meat) (at own expense) before returning checking in to the Sheraton Miyako.
Tue 27 Mar : Today we will head west by train to Hiroshima. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the A-Bomb Dome and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Wed 28 Mar : This morning, after breakfast, we will begin our city tour of Kyoto. Today we will visit the Gion Corner where we will see Japan’s traditional performing arts being performed. In the afternoon we will be trying our hand preparing traditional Japanese Sushi at Umemori, one of Kyoto’s most famous Sushi restaurants. We will also visit some of the world’s most photographed destinations; the Bamboo Grove, the Arashiyama Stroll and the Golden Pavilion.
Thu 29 Mar: After breakfast, we will depart by bullet train to Tokyo. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Tobu Levant Hotel and overnight.
Fri 30 Mar : Today, we’ll explore Tokyo and explore sights such as The Tokyo Imperial Palace which is the residence of Japan’s imperial royal family. We will also visit the Tokyo Sky Tree which once the tallest tower in the world and is the main television and radio broadcast site for the Kanto region of Japan.
Then a spiritual stopover at Tokyo Camii Mosque for Jummah prayers which is Japan’s largest mosque, a beautifully designed building similar in look to the famous Blue Mosque of Istanbul. Afterwards, we will visit Asakusa which is home to Sensoji, Tokyo’s most popular Buddhist temple which is surrounded by a shopping area filled with souvenir shops and places to eat.
In the evening we will enjoy dinner at a local halal restaurant (at own expense) and overnight at the hotel.
Sat 31 Mar: This morning after breakfast, we will visit the famous Mount Fuji and take a boat cruise along the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi. We will also visit the Gotemba Outlet, Japan’s most popular outlet mall.
In the evening we will enjoy dinner at a local halal restaurant (at own expense) and overnight at the hotel
Sun 1 Apr: This afternoon we’ll transfer to Tokyo Narita airport for our flight to London via Doha.
