As the second largest country in the world, Canada overflows with famous tourist attractions just waiting to be discovered, and we’ve put together the very best must sees and dos for you to enjoy while on this great halal holiday.

Perfect for halal honeymooners, couples, and those that are looking to explore, our 12 night Canada Explorer tour will take you to 7 different locations that all offer memorable moments. Starting off at Vancouver to explore its beautiful mountains and home of various art, theatre and music scenes, here you’ll enjoy scenic mountain views and museums brought to life with breathtaking art. Another stop is Kamloops, the perfect place for outdoor activities such as biking, skiing and hikes before visiting the British Columbia Wildlife Park.

Jasper and Lake Louise offers the perfect escape for nature lovers with national parks, lakes, waterfalls, ice fields and so much more just waiting to be discovered. The beautiful Banff Springs is the perfect way to relax and unwind during the half way point of your holiday with its luxurious views and luscious green sceneries. After getting up close and personal with wildlife and many of Mother Nature’s many beautiful works, Calgary and Toronto will bring you back to the modern day life with their lively cities and magnificent buildings full of places to explore, attractions to visit, shopping malls to shop, and hundreds of delicious restaurants to keep you on the go.

Flight time from the UK: Travel time from the UK to Toronto, Canada is approximately between 7 hours to the East Coast and 10 hours to the West Coast.

Local languages: English and French are the official languages of all federal government institutions in Canada.

Best time to visit: The best time to visit Canada depends on where you’re travelling to, and what adventures or activities you plan on doing. For those looking for sunny days with calm and peaceful weather then summer is the perfect time of the year. If you’re looking for snow where you can enjoy various winter sports and activities then winter is the best time to travel. Alternatively, autumn is also a great time to travel if you won’t to avoid the many tourists that visit annually. September is usually peak and a busy period in the year.

Visa requirements (for British passport holders) : British citizens travelling require an ETA (or Electronic Travel Authorization). Applying for an ETA is a simple online process that takes just a few minutes. To apply, you must have a valid passport or acceptable travel document, a credit card, and an email address.

Which airport will you fly in to: The airport you’ll fly into depends on the area within Canada that you are travelling to. Most direct flights from the UK will fly into Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton, St Johns and Halifax.

Key Events and Festivals:

Canada Day - July 1 is Canada Day, and the date signifies the date in 1867 when Canada became a Dominion, instead of a colony, under British rule. The national holiday is celebrated with parades, music concerts, fireworks, barbecues and many outdoor activities.

Winter Carnival - The celebration is a pre-Lenten festival, which always ends on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Many outdoor winter events such as dog-sled races, ice sculpture contests, skiing contests and ice skating are associated with the popular holiday.

Must try food:

Poutine - A dish of fries topped with cheese curds and gravy.

Montreal-style bagels - A sweet, firm, wood-fired bagel.

Nanaimo bar – Enjoy a sweet sugar rush with this delicious dessert. Usually made of chocolate ganache, vanilla custard, and crushed cookies, this mouthwatering dish is a must try when visiting.

Visit Niagara Falls – The most famous falls in the world, Niagara Falls, is a must visit when visiting Canada. Tourists can get up close for a splashing and wet time or take picture perfect photographs in a drier area.

Explore Toronto Island Park – Perfect for a day out, Toronto Island Park consists of four main islands and containing trails, with beaches and children's amusement rides for the whole family to enjoy.

Step back in time at the Canadian War Museum – Discover Canada's rich military history showcased through personal stories, artwork, photographs and interactive presentations.

Day 1 :  Arrival into Vancouver and transfer to the  Hyatt Regency (Burrard Street) on room only basis

Day 2 :  Day at leisure in Vancouver.

Day 3 :  Day at leisure in Vancouver.

Day 4 : Collect your car hire and make your way to Kamloops and overnight at the Hampton Inn by Hilton

Day 5 : Today make your way to Jasper and overnight at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge on room only basis

Day 6 : Day at leisure in Jasper

Day 7 :  Make your way to Lake Louise and overnight at the Fairmont Chateau in a Lake View Room on room only basis

Day 8 : Travel onwards to Banff and check into the Fairmont Banff Springs on room only basis

Day 9 : Day at leisure in Banff

Day 10 : Make your way to Calgary. Overnight at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel on room only basis

Day 11 : Return your rental car to Calgary Airport and board your onward flight to Toronto. Arrival into Toronto and transfer to the Omni King Edward for your stay on room only basis

Day 12 : Full day tour to Niagara Falls including lunch (shared excursion)

Day 13 : Days at leisure in Toronto

Day 14: Transfer to Toronto airport for your return flight to London
